We want to make sure your order is exactly what you want. Each order is unique and involves many options and decisions, some technical and some personal. This page will help both of us get you the custom product you want by explaining the options you have.

HOW TO ORDER
For a first time custom designed order, there is an initial one-time set-up fee. This charge covers the computer or hand designed graphics, graphic edits, art layout, camera photopositives and layout and all samples or swatches that are necessary for our client's approval and satisfaction. This fee varies or is waived entirely depending on the quantity ordered and number of colors desired.

EXISTING DESIGNS
If an existing design is available for use, the set-up fee is waived. These designs are usually generic in nature. If a logo or text is added for group identity at the ends of the scarf, a small fee will be charged for the artwork and the photopositive.

PRODUCTION NUMBERS
To keep track of every scarf design, a RAMA WORLD production number is designated at the time of the first order. All photopositives are archived for ease of re-ordering.

PRICING
There are many variables effected by different combinations of quantity, design, and colors. The best place to start is to Contact Us and give us an idea of your design and we can get back to you with a price.

PAYMENT (IMPAC Card accepted!)
Contracting offices and cash paying groups are allowed a 1%-20 days or Net/30. There are no discounts given for credit card purchases.

DELIVERY
 Allow up to four weeks for delivery. FOB point can be Destination or Riverside, CA.

DECISIONS TO MAKE

Many of our clients come to us with their scarf ideas well formulated. Others need assistance on how to get started. The following questions when answered will help in the decision making processes of designing a scarf. 

1. Do you want to use a generic scarf graphic without a logo that we already have thus eliminating set-up fees, usually checkerboards, diamonds, stars, lightning bolts, etc.?
2. Do you want to use the above idea, but personalize your scarf on the ends with a logo or text for squadron identity and a reduced set-up fee?
3. Do you want an original custom scarf designed especially for your group with your own images, logos and text?
4. What color/s do you want your graphics to be?
5. What color/s do you want the body of the scarf to be?
6. What type of fabric? We will be glad to send you sample swatches.
7. How wide, how long do you want your scarf?
8. Do you want the neckline straight, tapered or pleated? Pleating or tapering adds stability to the scarf.
9. What quantity will be needed for this first order?

SCARF GRAPHICS
Darker colors dye or pigment print best over lighter colored fabrics. The combination of colors are almost unlimited. For achieving light or white graphics, we are able to reverse dye print the body of the scarf the desired darker color leaving the graphics the white or light fabric color. Example: If white graphics are desired on a one color red scarf, we are able to reverse print the scarf red along with any defining lines and leave the basic images the white of the soft fabric.

SCARF SIZES
Scarfs range in size from 3" to 6" finished width, double folded and sewn. Lengths vary from 36 to 48 inches.

FABRIC TYPES
Because our clients are on the go, and their scarfs cannot always be pampered, RAMA WORLD has selected textiles that are easy care, machine or hand washable, machine or drip dryable, and are luxurious yet very sturdy. The following are suggestions. Other fabrics are available upon request.

1. 100% polyester interlock, comfortable and slightly stretchable.
2. All types of woven polyesters for a silken, silken matte or shiny look.
3. 100% polyester knit performance fabric for its breathability and wicking qualities.
4. 65/35% polyestercotton.
5. 100% cotton.
